The countdown is on, and we’re just days away from one of the key highlights of the gift card industry calendar - The GCVA annual conference.
This year, two members of the Tillo team will be taking centre stage at the event. Here’s everything you need to know about their appearances.
At 10.50 am on Day 2 of the GCVA conference, Tillo CEO and Founder Alex Preece will participate in a panel discussion around the GCVA’s latest whitepaper, sponsored by Tillo – ‘What’s in a name…Gift Cards are more than just a gift.’ This panel discussion will reveal the outcome of the GCVA’s hotly anticipated white paper produced in partnership with KPMG.
Given that gift cards can now power so much more than simply gifting, this white paper is asking the tricky question of whether the name Gift Cards is still the best to use. It also explores the possible implications of changing the name and aims to uncover what the future may hold for gift cards.
Alex will be joined on stage by Miranda Graesser, Head of Gift Cards and Sainsbury’s Energy for Sainsbury’s, Eoin Whyte, Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder of Savvy, Dan Brookman, the CEO of Toggle & Airship, and Lucio Mazarri, the European Director of Partnerships and Gift Cards for Lastminute.com.
Tillo’s VP of People, Briony Robertson, will also be on stage at 12.30 pm. on day 2 of this year’s GCVA conference chairing Role of Gift Cards in Attracting and Retaining the Best People.
It’s no secret that gift cards play a vital role in the reward and retention space, but what else can be done to support businesses looking to attract and retain the best people?
Briony will be joined by Molly Pemberton, Group Director of Retail for Tillo partner Reward Gateway; Chris Ronald, VP of EMEA Incentives & Operations for Blackhawk Network; Kathy Heath, the CEO & Co-Founder of Tillo partner Healthy Minds Club; and Eoghan Thompson, Director of People Consulting & Learning for KPMG.
