We're still pinching ourselves after our fantastic trip to Split, Croatia. What a dream come true to spend three days soaking up the sun and experiencing the best Croatia has to offer with our colleagues from the UK and USA. In case you’re getting FOMO, here’s a little round-up of what we got up to and why this trip mattered so much to the team at Tillo... 🌴🏖️

So what did we get out to? Well, we kicked off this trip with a private boat adventure, diving into the crystal-clear ocean, visiting picturesque islands, and snorkeling near a shipwreck. It was the perfect way to unwind and bond as a team, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Croatian coast. 🛥️🐠
The next day, we were up bright and early, starting off with an inspiring business update from our CEO, Alex Preece, and Chief Finance Officer, Lee Spencer, before jumping right into a selection of team-building activities. First, we dissected the characteristics that go into making the perfect Tillian, a challenge set by our amazing People Team, who have recently helped grow Tillo to a team of almost 100 people! Next, we split into teams for a Tillo Connect challenge - a game of strategy, communication, and creativity that saw the creation of some remarkable Lego sculptures.
After a quick bite of lunch, we then embraced adventure, getting to choose between two heart-pumping activities: white water rafting and cliff jumping on the Cetina River or soaring through the Cetina Canyon on a series of eight thrilling zip lines. Our smiles said it all as we challenged ourselves, cheered each other on, and created memories that would last a lifetime. We concluded the day with a sumptuous dinner at Restaurant Spalatin, where laughter and stories flowed as freely as the delicious food (and a glass or three of wine). 🌊🚣🍽️
On our final day, we had some well-deserved free time, the perfect chance to explore Split or attend a rejuvenating yoga class. We soaked up the sun and reflected on the unbelievable experiences over the last two days while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city before heading back to Split airport for business as usual Thursday morning.
As you can imagine, this trip took a lot of planning, so we want to extend a huge thank you to Emma, who played an instrumental role. Her dedication ensured everything ran smoothly, and we're immensely grateful that it was her organizing 80 flights and not anyone else.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Big Blue Adventures for their exceptional service, creating a seamless experience for our team of over 80 people and making sure we got to see the best that Split had to offer.
