Giving back is a really important part of the company ethos that brings Tillo together as a team and closer to our local communities. Like many organisations, we recognise the importance of making financial contributions to causes that are close to our hearts, but what has the greatest impact on everyone concerned is when we also give freely of our time.

In recent years, we have supported a number of organisations that do vital work with disadvantaged people and communities in and around Hove, which is where Tillo HQ is based. Partnering with these charities is borne of the belief that we can help both fund and deliver the vital work they do.

CHOMPOur work with CHOMP Brighton, for example – an organisation that provides food and fun for low income families during the school holidays – helped support their vital work during 2020 and 2021. Members of the Tillo team worked with CHOMP to deliver food hampers to families in need, while also supporting people who wanted to get more active, by providing access to sports equipment and helping to organise running clubs. Tillo was also delighted to fund 100 scholarships for local children to gain access to sports clubs via their schools.

Martlets

This year, we are supporting Martlets Hospice, as they carry out the vital work of building a new hospice for the people of Brighton and Hove and coastal East Sussex. As well as helping financially towards their project costs via a £10,000 donation, we are also contributing £7,500 towards the annual Brighton Sculpture Trail. By sponsoring one of the many talented artists taking part, we hope to raise as much money as possible when their work is auctioned for Martlets at the end of the event.

Dare-To-DreamTillo is also supporting Dare to Dream, a Brighton-based organisation that delivers an inspirational programme challenging young people to change the way they think. By working as mentors, members of the Tillo team are helping local school children from year 9 upwards to identify and work towards a variety of interesting and rewarding career opportunities. This also includes a donation of £5,000 to help expand their work in the local community.

We are delighted and proud to help these wonderful organisations, and grateful to them and the amazing local friends we make as the Tillo team works hard to give back to our local communities. Please join us in supporting them by visiting their websites, offering a donation or giving some valuable time.
