UBT is a global enterprise spanning 19 countries. UBT supports clients with business advisory and group buying services to help businesses maintain the competitive edge. Business advisory services include corporate training, consulting and facilitating leadership and excellence for clients in their respective industries.
UBT is driven by their mission to support their community through business advisory services and group buying.
All discounts and savings earned by members via the use of gift cards are transferred into community projects to support education and charity work.
In March 2020, as the pandemic hit, many businesses were forced to pivot quickly in order to navigate the new landscape - UBT were no different. Joanne Peake, Head of Innovation & Retail, explains: “We had always used gift cards and vouchers within our business community, however in 2020 these products faced distribution and redemption challenges for our members. The pandemic meant we needed to make changes to provide a route for businesses and their customers .”
There were a number of advantages for UBT in partnering with Tillo:
- The system is self serve so members can login and order easily
- There is no need for UBT to hold stock
- It opened members up to hundreds of new brands globally that they previously would not have had access to
The team also makes use of Tillo’s Buy & Send functionality in order to send gifts to members and others within the network at scale.
In 2020 UBT saw an average of 254% MoM sales growth using Tillo. Joanne comments:
